Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies Goodboy Atlas uses, what they do, and how you can control them. For broader privacy information, see our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember preferences, and provide information to site owners about how the site is used.
Cookies Goodboy Atlas uses
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function. They store your cookie-consent choice (so we don't ask again every visit) and your dark/light theme preference. No tracking information is collected.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
petmath:cookie-consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months |
petmath:theme | Remembers light/dark mode | Persistent |
These are stored in localStorage (not true HTTP cookies, but functionally
equivalent). They never leave your device.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies. It does not collect personal information, IP addresses (in identifiable form), or persistent identifiers. Aggregated data only — page views, country, device type.
Advertising
Display advertising on this site is served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to:
- Serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other sites
- Measure ad performance
- Prevent fraud and abuse
You can manage Google's use of advertising cookies at Google Ads Settings. For more about Google's cookies and tracking, see Google's cookie policy.
Affiliate links
Some outbound product links are affiliate links (clearly disclosed inline). The destination site may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. These cookies are set by the third party, not Goodboy Atlas.
Managing cookies
You can manage cookies in three ways:
- Site-level: use the cookie-preferences button in our footer to change your consent at any time.
- Browser-level: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. See: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
- Ad network-level: Google's settings linked above; opt out at the NAI opt-out page or YourOnlineChoices (EU).
Disabling cookies will not break the site's core functionality. Some personalised advertising will become non-personalised (still shown, just less relevant).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will appear at the "Last updated" date at the top.
